Facebook and Twitter are driving migration, says I...

My old Red Cross friend Joe Lowry now works for IOM and I am proud to run his rather startling article on migration:

JoeJoe Bloggs: Facebook and Twitter are driving migration, says I...: My first two contributions to the website of my new organisation, iom.int. The first part is a report into a conference on border managemen...

Cheers Bob - bet you get more hits than me :) Enjoyed the Twitter banter on Saturday. When are you over in BKK?

The hits on my blog have been hitting as high as 3000 a day at a peak 3 weeks back and are now hovering around 900 a day. It is due to the Hemmingway and Gellhorn movie that triggered this as I wrote about Martha Gellhorn on my blog. So when the movie came out on HBO, there was an expolosion of hits. Before I was averaging round 400 a day.
Yes I enjoyed the twitter banter. Although beaten, Ireland played quite well. But with a mixture of old hardened ABs, and new guys wanting to seal their place, the ABs were torrid at times. Cheers mate. Going through BKK en route to and from Vietnam late June and back thru round 10 July.
