Interview on CNN about the outstanding work done by Red Cross in Sri Lanka floods,

The Red Cross team here in Sri Lanka has managed to provide food, rations and essential relief items to almost 800,000 people out of the 1.2 million people affected by the terrible wave of floods that have gradually worsened over 3 months, affecting 18 of the 26 districts and destroying 35% of the rice crop. Working closely with the UN, Government and other international organisations in a very coordinated approach, our funds and relief supplies are exhausted. We are appealing for support. Here is the interview
